No matter what your business is, as an employer you are aware that you are responsible for your staff and their health and safety whilst in your employ.
You are also aware that your staff are the most important asset you have. You will no doubt have invested a considerable amount of
Time and expense in training each of them for their particular jobs. There is always a turnover of staff over long periods of time but when the staff turnover increases to a higher level it can be very costly to the business as their loss may have a domino effect.
High turnover of staff is very often an indication that something is going wrong with their management. Pay is not so often the reason for high staff turnover although it is a consideration. But people regularly remain in lower paid positions for other reasons, sometimes out of loyalty or that they may have found that the way they have been treated is worth more than money.
Health and Safety legislation dictates that you must assess risk to health including the risks of stress and if one person is absent through work related stress then it must trigger a reassessment of the risks.
Many employers find that because stress is largely intangible, they have difficulty in how to assess those risks.
XS Stress can either carry out the assessment for you or show you how you can complete it for yourself. Additionally we can put processes into place and assist you to put in policies which will make future assessment part of you routine.
